The Jays made a roster move:

Brendan Cellucci was called up.
I’m thinking that Waldron clears waivers and stays with the team, but we won’t know that for a few days. He’s had a rough time in 4 outings with the Jays, putting up a 10.38 ERA in 4.1 innings, with 7 hits, 2 walks and 3 strikeouts. I think, at best, he’s an innings eater out of the pen.

Cellucci is a left-hander pitcher, who was drafted by the Red Sox, but the Jays signed him to a minor league contract before this season, pitching in New Hampshire and Buffalo. He has a 3.74 ERA in 40 games, 45.2 innings in the Jays system, with 22 walks and 48 strikeouts.
He has a ‘high 90s fastball and a good slider. Control is always the issue.
