The next few weeks are sure to be exciting, with three major international competitions on the schedule. The Commonwealth Games in Glasgow will get things started later this month, while the European Championships and Pan Pacific Championships will follow in August. At the midway point between the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris and the 2028 Games in Los Angeles, it will be interesting to see what the established stars produce, and who emerges as a rising force.
Because there is no global championship this year, event comparisons will be the norm as these regional meets unfold.
