The Xavier Musketeers men’s basketball team announced a public exhibition game has been added to its preseason schedule on Aug. 7.

The Musketeers will head south to the University of Tennessee on Oct. 15 for what will the second of three exhibition games the program will play. Tennessee fans will get the first crack at tickets for the game before general public ticket sales open at 10 a.m. on Sept. 17. Prices start at $15 for upper levels and $25 for lower levels.

The Tennessee trip will follow Xavier’s meeting with Dayton on Oct. 7 in the CareSource Invitational at The Lindner Family Tennis Center. Cincinnati and Ohio State will also play in the outdoor invitational. On Oct. 23, Xavier will host Kent State for the third exhibition.

Xavier’s second season under head coach Richard Pitino will open on Nov. 2 as the Musketeers host Mount St. Mary’s in the season opener.
