2027 IMG Academy wide receiver names Tennessee football in top schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star wide receiver Osani Gayles named Tennessee in his top five schools, along with Alabama, Washington, Notre Dame and Stanford, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect is from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 7 wide receiver in the class and No. 5 player in Florida.

Tennessee offered Gayles a scholarship on Aug. 1, 2024. He unofficially visited the Vols for a Tennessee-New Mexico State football game on Nov. 15, 2025. The 2027 prospect will officially visit Tennessee on June 12.

Nevada was the first school to offer Gayles a scholarship on Feb. 19, 2024. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include California, Oregon, Penn State, Minnesota, Illinois, Ole Miss, Arizona, USC, Miami, UCLA, Arizona State, Florida State, Missouri, Florida, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, Texas A&M, LSU and Ohio State.

Tennessee has seven commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman and defensive back Carter Jamison.
