Ohio State will have double-digit players drafted again next week. The Buckeyes’ offensive line isn’t set and there’s opportunity for a new face to start in the fall.

Injury has opened the door for a new Ohio State starter

Both of Ohio State’s starting offensive tackles from last season are sidelined the rest of the spring due to minor surgeries they underwent. Ian Moore and Carter Lowe are getting more opportunities this spring, and Moore is specifically competing for a starting spot.

“Ian has done some really good things, so that’s been great,” head coach Ryan Day said on Monday. “And I think he understands now going into this year, he’s got some time under his belt – he certainly has gotten better, and he’s got an opportunity to play himself into a starter role here.”
