Michael Page, one of the most dynamic strikers in the UFC, is taking his talents to the wrestling world.
MVP is set to compete in a freestyle wrestling match against Alexander Shlemenko at RAF 14, which is scheduled to go down at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas on Oct. 3. The event streams live on FOX Nation, and the match will be contested at cruiserweight. The promotion announced the booking on Wednesday.

Page, a former Bellator welterweight contender, has been competing in the UFC over the last two years, where he’s gone 4-1. His last bout was back in March when he defeated Sam Patterson in a unanimous decision. Like Page, Shlemenko also made his name fighting under the Bellator banner. There, he won and defended the Bellator middleweight title three times. He also won multiple tournaments under Bellator. Shlemenko, 42, is still competing in MMA. He’s got 89 professional fights, with his last one being in June at ACA in Russia.
RAF 14 is headlined by a matchup between UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan vs. Dillon Danis.
