WNBA player talks Klay Thompson, Megan Thee Stallion rumors in interview: ‘I was not involved’

by

Seattle Storm guard Lexie Brown has spoken out even more after she posted a message on Instagram denying she was involved in Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion’s breakup.

In an interview with Fox News, she went more in depth about what she’s dealing with and what she had hoped would happen. The veteran guard said she did know Thompson but not the rapper.

She also noted that she’s “the only one” who has defended herself amid rumors that she was involved in their split, and that nothing has come from either party or their team denying the same.

“The truth is over there somewhere,” she said, “and I was expecting it to reveal itself from that side of it, the side that actually has the issue, because again, I have no idea what’s going on. I have no involvement, I’ve had no communication at all whatsoever during their relationship.”

Brown added that her family has dealt with harassment and she’s received “threats on my life, threats on my health” and she’s hired security when she travels.

All of this is awful and extremely unnecessary. Hopefully, her speaking out will help.

Who is Lexie Brown?

She’s about to start her ninth season in the WNBA — it’s her second with the Seattle Storm. She’s played for the Sun, Lynx, Sky and Sparks before landing with the Storm in 2026.

Have Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion spoken out about Lexie Brown?

As Brown said, they have not. Megan Thee Stallion did confirm the breakup with Thompson, but there’s been nothing else since.
